Stalker Shadow Of Chernobyl Crash On Startup
Title says it all. I went to start it up this morning, only to be met with BugTrap's crash report. I tried restarting steam, verifying the integrity of the game's cache, restarting my computer, etc. None of this was successful. I couldn't find any solutions on Google, so I thought I might as well ask here.I am running Windows XP Home Edition, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Is on Steam (obviously).I had been playing it only an hour or so before the crash. I quit the game and turned off my computer, than an hour later rebooted because I wanted to play again, and the game wouldn't start.Here's the error report:Error Reason:-XR3DA.exe caused BREAKPOINT in module 'c:program filessteamsteamappscommonstalker shadow of chernobylbinxrCore.dll' at 001B:00597CB5, xrDebug::backend+165 byte(s)I have tried every obvious thing, including reinstalling the game.
