My Solo2 has developed an irritating fault on one of its tuners: once I've selected a channel I can't tune in to channels on other transponders. I'm getting a good enough signal, it just won't tune in and I get 'No data on transponder - timeout reading PAT'. A restart of the system is the only solution, at which point I'm stuck on another channel (latest Openvix, problem occurs with both Diseqc 1.1 and USALS connected LNBs, I've swapped out LNBs and the same cabling works fine with the other tuner). Opening up the box I can't see any bulging caps or anything of that ilk. Opening up the box I can't see any bulging caps or anything of that ilk. I have two dishes wired up: 1m on a motor (USALS, 17m cable run), T90 on a Diseqc 10-way switch (8m run, at the moment I only have a few ports in use - namely for 13E, 19.2E and 28.2E). BisTV CAM + card in the CI+ slot. There is a 1TB internal disk. Confluence skin.

I'm not using any softcams (although come to think of it the plugins might be loaded, I'll have to check when I get home).Whichever dish is connected to Tuner B has issues changing from one channel to the next, whether FTA or otherwise. I did have BisTV on 5W and the motor; it's now on 13E and the switch. Tuner A is fine.whichever dish is cabled to it. I also have a USB tuner (tuner C) which I am successfully using with the motor at the moment, leaving Tuner B disconnected.I've tried using earlier images of OpenVix.I've tried a fresh flash of OpenVix, although I haven't yet tried.without. settings restore.I've swapped LNBs (in any case the LNBs, switch, cables and motor are good - they work fine with Tuner A).

The F-plugs on the cables are either crimp-on and/or well-greased and taped.I've tried swearing copiously (this was obviously the first thing I tried). The box is only about 4 years old so I'm loathe to swap it out. Apart from being a bit slow with the CAM and sometimes forgetting the CAM is there (I have to pull it out and plug it back in again) it's fineedit: I think I've hijacked the thread, sorry @Analoguesat!

I have had a similar problem, with my VU+ Duo2, where a tuner wasn't being recognized, and I had to re-flash the image to get it working again, when i was running Blackhole, but now it's working fine. I'm using a 1.2M CM dish, with twin LNB, so I can record, and view, other channels, running Open Blackhole. It sounds like you're using your tuners separately, so you don't have the motorized dish, going through your Diseqc switch, along with the fixed dish, and multiple LNB's.Are you using the Advanced tuner configuration options, or the simple Diseqc A, B C, D options?
